In VG+ condition is this much sought after Icon Winchester 44.40, 20” SRC. No cracks,repairs or missing wood,light surface scratches on the butt stock as depicted in pic,but typical handling wear you would expect from this 110 year old history maker of the old West. Very nice and clean bore with VG+ rifling,smooth lever action and solid lockup. Original blueing is evident on the mag tube,barrel and behind the saddle ring, the rest of the metal has turned a beautiful plum patina. There are slight scratches on the receiver,loading gate is strong,as is the hammer hold at half and full cock. Original ladder sight is tight and fully functional,this is one of the nicer complete and untouched 92 44.40 SRC’s I have owned.
