Another on the chopping block. Trying to clear up space & funds for a new rifle build/project
Henry Big Boy X chambered in 357mag/38 special. This thing is honestly an excellent step up from a .22 in progression of teaching someone to shoot, slightly more felt recoil with a 38 special, pretty lightweight rifle & the ability to shoot heavier projectiles with 357 mag loads. That or if you really just like lever guns. I wanted one of these for a while and it took me too long to decide on the Henry but i just don't use it enough.
Pheonix weaponry red dot mount - holosun 507k pattern, with a Votatu red dot (amazon but has so far been very very reliable & all around an excellent little red dot for the price point ~ $200). Have the iron's to go with it as well. But i seem to have misplaced the screw for the front sight. Easy enough to replace but hopefully i find it before it sells.
Leather wrapped the handle to help the fingers
Have 500-600 projectiles, dies (lee 4 die and lyman 3 die set), brass and several hundred complete reloads (357s and 38s). Have the load data for the 38 reloads (i made them) but i would suggest the 357 mag loads are for components ONLY. I have shot some of the 357 reloads - they came from a family member but i will not sell them saying they are use-able ammo.
$1500 - rifle & dot only no reloading stuff/ammo
$1700 - rifle & reloading stuff & ammo. with the stipulation the ammo that comes with it is for teardown & component use only
Have many small pistol & small pistol magnum primers if wanted for extra $.
