Mauser Obendorf Type S Carbine 30-06 Lyman Alaskan Scope
Very nice example in excellent working condition.
Comes with the highly desirable Lyman Alaskan Scope with cross hairs, also in excellent condition.
Very little use.
Bright bore in excellent condition.
The total weight (including scope and mount), is 3.559kg, or 125.55 oz, or 7 lbs, 13 1/2 oz.
Defects include small split in the stock at the muzzle end (cosmetic only), see photos.
Small rust specs on side of floor plate.
The end of bolt safety lever has been reduced and I suspect deactivated so that the bolt would clear the scope. ie, this gun does not appear to have a working safety. This would of been done at the time the scope was mounted.
The rifle has a recoil pad that I believe was not original.
