Savage 10TR (.308Win)-based package – complete and ready to shoot.
Offered to Mil/LE only before they hit the market - a LOT of bang for the buck.
Closest current equivalent would be the Savage 110 Tactical – this has a better barrel.
Consistently better than 1 MOA with factory match ammo, hits 0.5 MOA with handloads. About 200 rds through it, and lots of life left (.308 is not a barrel-burner).
As it came:
- Savage AccuStock (aluminum bedded)*
- Savage AccuTrigger (adjustable w/ trigger safety – set to OEM 2.5 lbs, but goes down to 2)
- EGW scope rail (0 MOA)*
- 24” heavy free-floated barrel (5R rifling)*
- Muzzle thread (5/8x24)
- Detachable 4-rd magazine (bottom release) – I have it if you want
-
Oversize bolt knob*
Things I added (and will be included):
- Vortex Viper HS-T, 6-24x50mm (VMR-1, MOA, SFP)* - with sunshade
- Weaver 6-hole 30mm rings (X-High)*
- Harris 1A2 LM bipod (9-13”, notched legs)*
- 2x Darkeagle Custom 10-rd magazines (built on OEM 4-rd body – work flawlessly)*
- Darkeagle Custom magazine release
- TacPro Kydex cheekrest*
- Butler Creek scope covers*
- Muzzle brake (I forget the make)*
- Dope cards @ 18x (calibration) and 24x (max) magnification – made with Strelok Pro for FGMM 168gr SMK.
Usually pretty dead-on – longer ranges may take a few clicks to adjust.
Zero is at 100 yds, dope goes out to 741 at 24x.
You can go further with a canted base, I just don’t have anywhere to shoot that far.
Asterisk* items are painted camouflage – local vegetation and colours in a green/brown/tan pattern. Can share details/pictures.
Buttstock filled with foam to reduce vibration.
Will include shown target with 1+5-shot group, using FGMM 168gr SMK (GM308M), from 4 Aug 2025.
(Cold-bore shot bottom left – still touches the 5-shot group, which comes in at ¾ MOA).
Handload: Federal brass, CCI 450 primer, 168gr Sierra TMKs, 44.5gr Varget, 2.830” OAL.
Fits and feeds from the mags.
Unless you compete/shoot a lot, this will probably be all you ever need.
If you want/need to take it further, drop it in a MDT (cheapest one runs about $330 bucks) and gain AICS mags and a vertical pistol grip.
The retail cost of building this package was well over $3000 – yours for $2500.
I would prefer not to break up the package, but if you really want the rifle only - $1625 for the rifle without the scope, rings and scope caps.
Consequently, $875 for the scope, rings and caps.
Pick-up/meet on southern Vancouver Island.
If you pay for shipping, I will investigate options.
EMT is king, PAL is a must.
