Springfield 1873 Trapdoor 45 70 Rifle

Trapdoor 1873 rifle in good working condition.

This is not a perfect example but is complete and functions well.

100 years of wear and tear on it but the stock is solid with no cracks or 

repairs that I can see.

Has damage at muzzle end of stock with small are of wood missing but is still solid.

Bore has strong rifling with some light pitting and dark areas and is still quite shootable.

Lock functions well with strong main spring.

Rear sight appears to be a replacement and works fine.
