Savage model 1899 manufactured in 1908. Chambered for 303 Savage. Faded original blued finish, the reciver has high edge wear and carrying wear on the bottom of the receiver. Brass follower and counter. Case colored lever with trace colors. Two positions folding front sight, Marble rear sight. Walnut stock with crescent butt plate. Barrel marked "Savage Hi-Pressure Steel" and "Model 1899". Rear folding peep sight is damaged, aperture is broke. Very smooth tight action, bore is shiny with strong rifling.
