Hey Gang,
I have a rare Kar98a rifle I’m looking to trade for something more modern. This was the first ‘special forces’ rifle, issued to German trench raiders and stormtroopers in WW1.
Rifle has been refinished by Vulcan Gunsmithing, who specialize in historical firearms restorations.
I’m looking for a quality 5.56 rifle build (Ravens, Sterlings etc), but may be open to other trades. I wouldn’t mind a Marlin dark, a trapper or a guide gun in 45-70. Would also love a Remington 700 in 308 for a project I want to start. Try me and see, if you’re interested, the worst I can say is no.
I value the rifle at $2,300. Bayonet is included, and the hardcase can be negotiated in if there’s interest. If shipping is required, it’s on the buyer.
I love the rifle, but feel it would be better appreciated by someone else, as I’m looking to move away from milsurps and towards modern sporters. I am not willing to sell the bayonet separately.
