Midland .308

I bought it a month ago and never had a rifle with internal mag, I found out that I really dislike them, besides that it’s a great shooter,

From what I can tell I’m pretty sure it’s a small ring Mauser action rifle built in England by midland/Parker hale sometime between 1960-1980, the blueing looks almost new, the drop plate has some very nice metal work on it, the rifle appears to have been hunted/carried as there is some small scratches in the finish but none that seem to have gouged the wood stock, it’s got weaver 1” rings and a fixed scopechief Vl made by bushnell(4x?)
