Selling/trading a Savage Model 99 Takedown in .300 Savage. Overall it's in nice shape. Made in 1925, 24" barrel, with brass counter. Steel is in nice shape throughout, bluing has turned to a darker patina along the barrel, receiver has faded to a lighter colour - all is in nice clean shape. Wood stocks are also very nice. Butt stock has a rose coloured grip cap and a Pachmayr butt pad, length of pull is 14" total. Bore is in very nice shape, crisp and bright. Comes topped with a Bushnell Banner 1.5-4x20 with 1" Weaver rings. Front iron sight still present, rear is not. Takedown is nice and tight. Overall a very solid rifle. Looking for $875 shipped.
