Hooten & Jones, 60 Dale St, Liverpool, exact dates unknown, serial on trigger guard plate #9118. In its circa 1900 case from Army and Navy Co-operative,Ltd, believed to be in very early 1900's. The straps on the case were renewed about 1/2 century ago.
Barrels are excellent, and not cleaned for the pictures. As it came from the case, after laying for 12 years after Uncle Keith passed. Each family member in succession lightly removed the prior initials and placed their own on the case.
This gun is unmolested.
Stock and fore stock are in very good condition for a gun that brought in the birds for three of those four generations. These were hunters, prized their guns, took care of them. The mechanisms are tight, clean, non-abused.
The engravings are clean and distinct, in each area.
