Marlin 1898, takedown, slamfire. Will ship.

Cool old Marlin 1898. 12 gauge. The 29" take-down barrel is in great condition. Slam-fires.

It's functional and I have used it many times (with light loads). Some internal parts are worn: the inertia lock no longer functions, and when the hammer is in the half-cock position a strong pull on the trigger causes it to fall. I believe both issues could be fixed by someone with welding ability (but I'm not a gunsmith).
