Case-hardened metal is near perfect (spots you may see are case-hardening), as is wood. Has Wyatt Earp written on the side.
I am the first owner, and I only fired about 4 shells through it to try it out. It’s been a safe queen since as I never really had the chance to get into SASS. Surplus to my needs.
