(New Pics) Vintage 1952 Remington Wingmaster - two barrels (original 30” and 20” bore) - receiver very good shape - original stock and forend

From the height of the Wingmaster production - once piece construction and incredible reliability still tough after.

Barrel took some lumps over past 75 years, but just some dings on outside of barrel and speckling of tiny rust spots. The receiver is still amazingly tight considering its age and I would still personally rely on it in any situation. The 30” barrel is the original, and the 20” barrel that isn’t photographed is one I’m getting from auction. I also could strip a fully rifled 20 barrel from an express, if it would help seal the deal instead of the smooth bore (again the 20” is NOT going to be original - everything else is original).

 bought a 20” barrel to offer people options. You could sand down, treat, that old barrel in an hour total - but I’ll let the buyer decide.  Inside the receiver - the striking cyclinder (steel) which is racked with the forend arms has brown staining on it, actually came off with rubbing and a simple cleaning oil.

No rust at all on receiver or internals that I can see after taking apart. Lots of people are looking back to these reliable years and either keep it as a collector or put the 20” barrel on it and take it in the brush, have fun on the range or for ensuring you feel comfortable should there be a ‘bump in the night’. I have some accessories that would give it a pictinnay rail on top of receiver - we could negotiate its inclusion in a deal.
