For sale: Japanese-manufactured Ithaca SKB Model 500 over/under shotgun in 12 gauge.
Specifications:
• Barrel Length: 28 inches.
• Chambers: 2 ¾ inch.
• Chokes: Fixed chokes. Top barrel is Modified (**); bottom barrel is Improved Cylinder (**-).
• Proof Marks: Stamped with British Nitro Proof marks (Birmingham Proof House) on the barrel flats.
Condition:
• Mechanical: Action functions properly. The lockup is tight with no barrel shake or movement when the forearm is removed. The top lever rests slightly left of center when closed.
• Bores: Clean and reflective.
• Metal Finish: Silver-nitride engraved receiver showing no pitting. Factory barrel bluing remains intact.
• Wood: Checked walnut stock. The finish shows signs of historical wear and flaking, currently treated with a coat of protective stock wax. There are no structural cracks or deep gouges in the wood.
