Up for grabs from my personal collection is a beautiful Remington Model 31 12 gauge shotgun in the 20" barrel riot/police configuration. The wood furniture is absolutely gorgeous (free of any cracks or major dings) and the deep bluing is superb. This example was built in late 1949 based on its matching serial number of 128617. The extra '1' stamped into the receiver and barrel (matching) is believed to have been added by a police department. A truly excellent example of one of the more rare Remingtons, the choke is full and the bore is brilliant. This model was the predecessor to the infamous Wingmaster and was Remingtons first side ejecting shotgun.
The Model 31 fires and cycles beautifully, just at it should, and will come shipped in a brand new soft rifle sock. The action on this firearm truly is remarkable, hence its reputation as having a "ball bearing action". I'm asking $575 inclusive of insured shipping Canada wide. This is a rare opportunity to own an excellent condition riot configuration Model 31 for a very reasonable price. Regards folks and happy trigger times.
