Very early 12 gauge single

Newton Late Rooke of London single shot 12 gauge (marked 13) with Jones underlever.  32.5” barrel of fine Damascus.  Bore is not great; good bit of pitting, but shootable.  Action is very tight with no play.  Made without extractor; has a cutout on the right side to extract brass.  Hammer is a poor replacement.  Highly engraved with excellent figured walnut stocks, and horn forend tip.  Firing pin was frozen, so I’ve polished it up and it works fine now.  Action marked C. Newton.  A utilitarian arm with high quality workmanship and parts.  Possible trade for pump shotgun.
