British made 12 gauge, 2 3/4” chamber, side by side shotgun made by J.Ellis, Bailey St., Oswestry (Wales) and so marked. This gun has an overall length of 46 1/4”, a length of pull of 14 1/2”, and 30” barrels with extractors. Left barrel is choked Improved Modified, right Barrel is choked Modified. The receiver is nicely engraved, including the trigger guard and action lever. The stock is nicely grained English Walnut, grip in the Prince of Wales style, with a splinter fore end, personalization plaque, and plastic butt plate. This firearm appears to be in its original finish with straight screw slots.
These sell when polished up for about 1400-900 low end. Very nice collectors piece. It shoots accurate and true. I have killed deer and birds with this gun recently.
