Back story
I inherited this in 2009, it was in super rough shape with lots of surface rust. Had it sandblasted and arma-coated as well as sent it to Casey at Tacord to shorten the barrel to 18.5", install the front sight, and give it the Vang Comp treatment. Some of the pitting was so bad it couldn't be fully removed as you can see in the pic. The only spot is on the rear of the receiver.
Casey installed ghost ring sights and rebuilt the gas system. That was over a decade ago, it's had some rounds put thru it here and there but not really used a whole bunch since all the work.
I haven't shot it for 5 or 6 years now, but from memory, It does not like light loads (birdshot) and prefers full power buckshot and slugs to cycle. It needed a lighter recoil spring since the barrel got shortened from stock 23".
