This is an English Side-by-Side Hammergun manufactured in 1891.

12 Gauge Side-by-Side Shotgun. 30” barrels

Certificate of authenticity of date and gauge from the now-distributors of Thomas Bland & Sons. Originally a 14 Gauge.

In my family for 20+ years. Never fired (by our family).

Right side hammer - comes with a blank. I started to tool a new screw and machine the square of the blank but I’m more into fixing old rifles.

These old English shotguns are pretty collectible and can fetch a premium. I understand that this model is not in pristine condition and requires tooling to finish the blank hammer.
