One of the most unique military issue backpacks ever made. It has many design features seen no where else. Most noticeably, it has a lightweight and stiff inner backboard that acts like an internal frame. It was designed to carry the military issue NATO PRC77 which is like a stack of 6 clay bricks. Inside it has two separated main compartments with large roll top dust covers. The main one features internal straps that can mount the radio in the upper back. It also has very stiff heavy duty zippers that can be released to expand the pack, much like what is seen on motorcycle travel pannier bags, which reveals a second large full use compartment. There is also loads of interior storage options to help you organize and compartmentalize all of your equipment. There are also two very generous external pockets to keep items more readily available without having to enter the main compartments. As an added design bonus, there are long radio antenna bags available that mount directly to this pack using the extended zippers on either side, allowing even further carriage capabilities for such things as a tent, tent poles, or collapsible fishing rod.
