High carrying comfort for heavy loads – the Lastenkraxe by Tatonka

Tatonka is the parent company of Tasmainian Tiger, the well-known pro gear brand.

The Tatonka Lastenkraxe features a welded aluminum frame and V2 carrying system for heavy +/or bulky loads.  It has a load capacity of 50 kg.  A 25 cm deep jib serves as loading area.

The tubes of the main frame have a diameter of 24 mm, those of the cross frame 20 mm.  The main frame has 4 cross struts for stability.  The stiffened hip belt and carrying straps are well padded as protection against pressure points.  A stand, which also offers additional attachment options, provides stability even on uneven terrain.

The Tatonka ruck weighs ~1 kg., has an 80 litre capacity & is specifically designed to mount on the Tatonka Lastenkraxe pack-frame.

The ruck is equipped with complete all-round compression straps, large pockets on the front and on the sides, as well as material loops on the front and lid. The bottom of the pack bag is Cordura.  The interior of the bag can be opened to allow the packing out of game, if you don’t want it carried exposed on the frame.

This is an HD system, not some cheap garbage.
