Friendly, helpful.  I can not confirm or deny the Chinese origin but my hunch would be they are indeed from overseas.  That said the knife(#6)  feels great.  Arrived sharp, no missing or broken parts. The hand grip will take some getting use to because the edges where the hand grips feel a bit sharp or unfinished but all in all what do you expect for the price? Definitely recommend this seller if your looking for a everyday, cheap knife. Once misplace this one i know where to look for replacement.
