First time ever buying off gunpost and I chose well! He held on to the rifle while I gathered up money to pay him and when I did he wasted no time in getting it sorted, he was clear and communicative about what he needed for information and was very patient, would highly recommend.

The rifle had the stripper clip guide grounded off a bit and Brandan failed to mention it but he might had not known that it was (it's something that's easy to overlook). Besides that, he's a great person to deal with and would deal with again !

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the actual firearm when it arrived. Please read carefully.
It came out of the packaging with the safety non-functional. There were 2 pins missing which caused it to lock up and become inoperable (without using a special tool to manipulate it).
There was no mention of this in the ad the seller posted and had I known I would not have bought it.
I contacted the seller Brandan. He was aware of the difficulty with the safety but thought he did not need to mention it in the ad. I explained politely that in order to maintain a good reputation on Gunpost full disclosure was always necessary. He is a younger individual and I was pleasantly surprised when he offered to take the firearm back. Unfortunately, after making the offer, he stopped communicating with me. He seemed a very sincere individual so I have waited 8 days, and can see he is still active on GP. I really hate giving a less than perfect review and this is my first one. I recognize that this also gives him a chance to leave me a negative review but it would be a disservice to my fellow GP users if I did not report this. Please read my 125+ positive reviews over the last 2 + years and you can decide if you want to take a chance. I think Brandan may have got some bad advice after the fact, and I am still hoping he will do the right thing and I can remove this review.
I have not tried to fire the gun without the safety but believe it is otherwise a solid firearm and likely operable, so I have given 3 stars. That said I would advise caution in your dealings with Brandan. Hopefully he will prove me wrong in my assessment moving forward. Thanks
