I left a 3 star because Dave seems like a nice guy but the rest of the sale not. We were waiting way too long for a confirmation number that I asked for a refund. He told me the money was already spent on his credit card. So feeling bad I let that slide. I finally received the rifle. It was said in the ad , super accurate, not so . Bad even at 50 feet. Rifling hardly visible and crappy at the muzzle end. I texted him to ask what ammo he was using but have had no reply. Thus triggering this review. Overall the rifle is a nice piece of history but to say super accurate a total lie.
Wonderful gent to make a purchase from, I had a very nice conversation with him on the phone before we settled anything. He made sure that any of the flaws in the item I purchased were made abundantly clear before hand. He also provided a few extra photos that I specifically requested, despite their tricky nature to capture. He packaged everything beautifully, and was very quick to ship everything out. I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again, and I likely will when my wallet will allow me to again!

I was looking into purchasing a bayonet for my Lee Enfield from Dave and while conversing with him on the phone about the bayonet, he mentioned that he had a parade sling for a Lee Enfield that was painted white and that he would throw it in for free. He not only said that I could have the sling for free, but he also went through a ton of work to remove the white paint off of the sling. He scrubbed it and soaked it in methyl hydrate until it looked the way that a Lee Enfield sling should look. I received the bayonet and sling very well packaged. Upon receiving the items, I offered to pay him for the sling because of all of the work that he had done to it. He would not take payment for it and said that he was happy that I was satisfied with it. I highly recommend Dave if you're wanting to deal with a friendly, trustworthy guy, who goes above and beyond to ensure that you're pleased.
