The red dot was marketed as brand new, but came with clear signs of wear and tear in multiple areas. I have the exact same model and know what it is supposed to look like when brand new. On top of that, the red dot also came without the TOOL, manual, or cloth. Follow up communication was unsuccessful, with the seller insisting that the red dot is brand new and never used (despite me showing comparison photos), and that I could just use the tool from my other red dot, not realizing that he has clearly misrepresented the condition of the item. I went as far as suggesting the possibility that maybe the retailer from whom he bought this red dot may had it as the display model, but no, "brand new never used" was the only answer.
The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is that the red dot did arrive, and out of the $475 I spent, I at least could get $400 of utility out of the red dot.
