Bought a 1974 Browning Bar off him. Advertised as grade 2, high grade wood was mentioned twice in the ad, wood described as excellent condition. Pics were all from the rear of the gun, focusing on the rear stock but avoiding any reflection that would show scratches. The rear stock is no doubt a grade 2 stock but it had many scratches and some other worse damage. It is very easy to tell the front stock isn't even a grade 2, it has zero shine and no grain showing at all. It is a very well worn and damaged standard bar stock and is not even remotel close to matching the rear stock. The wood is 6/10 at best. I should've asked for more pics, I'm not new at this so that is on me. Anyone who doubts me, I still have screen shots of the full ad and pictures of the gun from when I received it. On the plus side he was great to deal with, although I'd appreciated advanced notice he was switching shipping carriers. Some carriers don't cover all rural areas, including mine. Packaging was 10/10, some of the best I've seen after many, many purchases on here.
