Kevin sold me a 1893 marlin takedown for $1550, he claimed was working and chambered in 30-30. And ready to be hunted with modern ammo.
On my first shot with this rifle, a year after purchase. Using a 150 grain winchester factory round. The casing blew up in chamber. I have talked to a couple gun smiths and the rifle has been reachambered to a unknown caliber. (The casing fireformed and expanded quite a bit, and cracked). And it could also could have other issues.
Also the rear sight broke off in shipping. And Kevin said he could not open up a insurance claim, and that I had to it. I thought that was fishy, and I wasn't around at the time to do it. So I let that go. But now after almost blowing my face off I would like some resolve.
Kevin has claimed to try to contact the guy he purchased the rifle from with no luck after 6 weeks. Kevin has offered no resolve to the problem and I all I have is a $1550 wall hanger.
Kevin, if you want to buy back this peice of crap ill pay shipping. But kevin is now ignoring all emails. Im shocked a guy with such great reviews is stabbing me in the back.
