I paid for items in the beginning of December 2020 that Canada Post lost. The seller was unwilling to assist me recover the money I paid him.
I contacted Canada Post immediately upon disccovering the package had been lost and submitted a claim. However, they required the seller to contact them for the claim to continue for me to recoup the funds I sent to the seller. I notified the seller about the issue before Christmas which he responded will look into it. Up until this issue the seller has been prompt in replying to me about general questions however I have yet to hear from him. I made 2 attempts to follow up with this seller for assistance (2 weeks after initially notifying him of the problem and again 1 week later after not receiving a response). At the time of writing this review I still have not received a response. I have not spammed his email and the reason for time delay was to give the seller ample time to respond to me.
Ultimately I am leaving this seller a 2 star rating instead of 1 star because he was quick to ship out the items I purchased and provided a tracking number. Given the seller's review history I do believe he sent out the items to me but was unhelpful and unreliable when there was an issue with delivery. The transaction is not completed as I am still out the items and the money I sent. I would be willing to change my review rating if the seller assists me on his end with Canada Post. That being said I will not contact this seller again and will cut my losses if he is still unwilling to help.
Future buyers please be cautious as he cannot be relied upon to assist a buyer if issues arise in shipping/delivery.
