I purchased a Marlin Saddle Ring Carbine a while back from David. I was a little wary as all the pictures seemed strategically placed to not show certain areas of the gun - even the ones he texted me. When I got the gun in the mail I understood why I had that gut feeling. Here are the issues I found:
1) The saddle ring had been hacked off. 2) The hammer had been welded and had obvious repair. 3) The hammer did not hold half-cock, 4) the firing pin was broken in half. 5) It had a major headspace issue that needed replacement of parts and repair.
I contacted the David outlining the issues and concerns. I politely asked if we could discuss these issues and come to a fair resolution that worked for both of us. I reached out over 10 times via text, phone, and messaging through GunPost. There has been no response from David even though messages were read. I know I am not a perfect man either, but I always try to be reasonable, fair and gracious with others. It is these types of sellers who do a disservice to us on this website. They clearly misrepresent the condition of the firearm and hide the truth from the buyer. They appear to be more interested in making a buck than doing a fair deal or making it right. They do not even have the character and decency to respond to your concerns once they have "ditched" the rifle. I would be happy to remove this review if David would only respond to me and work towards a reasonable resolution for both of us. The invitation still stands.
Been a member for quite some time and was a pleasure to deal with him. Had a hiccup at first but everything went smoothly after that. Will definitely be on the look out for his posts again in the near future.

I bought a scope from Richi. Communication was quick, but a little lacking in detail at first. This contributed to a lack of confidence in me, a potential buyer, believing that this would be a trusted seller. We are after all relying on trust and good faith as be buy and sell with strangers on this website. So I asked for extra photos and asked lots of questions. The photos were provided and questions answered, and my confidence grew in the seller. We arranged a transaction. I paid and Richi shipped it out the next business day. When it arrived I was initially concerned that it may not be packaged well; the scope was in its neoprene cover, wrapped tight in a plastic film, and rolling around inside a floppy bubble envelope. There was no box or generous amount of cushioning as I would have done when shipping a scope. Hopefully my concerns were unwarranted. I have not mounted the scope onto a rifle yet to verify that it works flawlessly, but cosmetically it is in very good condition just as Richi said and the photos showed. I will give 5 stars for this review because at the end of the day, the item seems to have arrived as described, the seller was gracious with my questions and request for additional photos, and shipping was prompt. Overall the transaction experience was good, but with a little room for improvement. Thank you Richi for this scope, I look forward to getting out and using it.
