This member started off by saying exactly “ this will sound like a lot of bs” regarding his emt transaction and said that his bank will block new contacts etc… I was a little suspicious at first, but I gave him a chance and decided to proceed with the deal. When I asked to verify him on my online portal registered with the RCMP online he was suspicious of the process and was not exactly sure about the process. Later he provided his ID’s and I provided my IDs back I and I verified him. When it was time to receive the EMT. I gave this member an account to transfer the money to that belonged to a family member. He did not want to send the money to that account so I ended up giving him my personal account. He then started wasting my time and asking for my selfie with an ID when I had already provided him with my ID. I asked if he knew someone in my area that could pick up the gun and he never responded. He left me a bad review while a deal never happened. I dealt with many gun owners on here and I only had 5-star reviews. I am verified by gunpost as I posted many ads on here and purchased a few guns over the course of a year since I was a member without any issues. I also have an account on other platforms such as CGN with only good reviews. I understand if he would not feel comfortable sending to a family member’s account, but I am not sure why would he not send it to my own personal account after I provided him with all the information. Keep in mind that all of this unfolded when this member did not have any reviews yet while I had three 5 star reviews. I even tried offering to ship my firearm, then receiving the funds as this member acquired two positive reviews a week later to settle this in an appropriate manner and he did not respond to me. I have screenshots to back up my story above. I also have many screenshots to prove how many gun deals went well without any issues, online and face to face.
