Schmidt & Bender 2 1/2-10x56

For sale is a Schmidt &Bender rifle scope in a   2 1/2-10 x56 with a 30 mm tube. The reticle is post with horizontals on each side.  I believe this is a typical reticle used in Europe for low light shooting. I think it’s called a S&B “A1”reticle, but not sure. (have been advised that it is an "A1 reticle")

This scope was part of an estate sale so I don’t know much of the history aside from it was made in West Germany which makes it as old or older than 1989 (reunification date)

The glass is very bright and the lenses are clear with no scratches or chips. 
 The power ring rotates with no grittiness.  The windage and elevation turrets are the click type and click over with no issues.

The scope is equipped with quick detach mounts. Bases are included and from the look of the radius on them, they would fit a Mauser receiver, although I haven’t checked this against any receiver in my collection.

Also included is a leather carrying case, handmade to fit the scope.
