Meopta ZF 4 Sniper Scope for G43 K43 K98

New old stock from Meopta.

We found a few of these in our warehouse, still in the wrap. The factory data sheet shows they were manufactured back in 2009. While these are reproductions, they are made by the original wartime (and post war) manufacturer of ZF4 optics. These are quality optics, not the crude Chinese copies found on ebay. A very usable and accurate copy of the original for your G43 at the range.

A bit of History… The Czech Optics manufacturer Meopta Prerov traces its roots back to the year 1933 when Optikotechna company was established in Prerov. Initially, Optikotechna produced lenses and condensers but quickly expanded its product line to include enlargers, composite lenses, single optics, binoculars, riflescopes, slide projectors and of course the well known Flexaret range of cameras.

By 1936, Optikotechna established new facilities to accommodate the rapid expansion of its operation necessary to meet the growing demand for its products. During the World War II, Optikotechna was forced to surrender control of its production to the German army. This change effectively stopped the production of all non-military products.

After the war, the remaining company was renamed Meopta

These high-quality ZF4 scopes were manufactured in the Czech Republic by Meopta, one of the original contractors that produced WWII era sniper scopes for the German army. With the use of modern optics technology, Meopta has reproduced what is probably the most historically accurate ZF-4 scope ever made, including the sliding sun shade, rubber eye cup and wooden storage box. Scope is fully-adjustable and features crystal clear optics and period markings. Each scope comes with a factory data sheet and lens cloth.
