New unfired 303 British brass. This is new old stock from Herter’s. This is very high quality heavy brass made long before the Herter’s brand was taken over by Cabela’s. Here’s a description from a post on gunnutz:
“Older Herters 303 brass was made to British/European specs as opposed to USA specs .They measured .453 to .455 on the head while Fed. or Win. can be as small as .447/.448. that difference in size is a huge help if you have a larger chamber in your rifle.”
