RCMP? GUN BELT & LOYAL EDMONTON REGIMENT BADGE

  I have these two items that I found together, not sure if they are related to each other or not.

  I have what appears to be an RCMP or other law enforcement gun belt, there is no holster just a pouch and loops for what looks like .38 rounds and a pouch for handcuffs.  With it was the badge pictured, "LOYAL EDMONTON REGIMENT 49" on the front and "C. LAMONT MONTREAL 85" on the back.

  They may be unrelated but it seems to me likely that they belong with each other as both were stored side by side.
