Firearm is secured while in the holster and released by first pushing a release button behind the trigger guard. It is set up to be used as a paddle type system however if you want you can easily switch out to belt through type fit. Very good shape. I was using it with either a S&W M&P 9mm or a FN-FNL 9mm. $60.
