Great historical display piece perfect for a Swiss Vetterli rifle collector setup.
The Ammunition: 22 original rounds featuring the iconic "U" headstamp (Union Metallic Cartridge/Remington). The copper/brass cases are in solid shape, and the 300-grain lead round-nose bullets show honest, natural lead oxidation typical for their age.
The Box: A genuine, pre-war green-and-red split-block Remington Kleanbore box. It features the factory product code 8941 on the side flap, strictly designated for this caliber. The box shows significant vintage wear and surface tearing as pictured, but it remains a fantastic companion piece.
Production Era: Narrowed down to 1937–1941 (post-dogbone logo design and prior to the WWII commercial production halt).
