This hooked quillon bayonet is a scarce 115+ year survivor. Maker James A Chapman, estimated to have produced only 14,000, this figure from Skennerton's "British & Commonwealth Bayonets". Compare to Enfield producing 175,000+ bayonets. After 1913 the quillon on this pattern was removed in production and when returned for repair. The scabbard is scuffed and worn but the seam is tight. Mailing anywhere included.
