Belgian-made FN FAL Type A bayonet with original wood grips and large catch ring pommel.


Bayonet is unmarked


Steel scabbard is unmarked.

Blade shows parkerized finish on the first ~30mm, transitioning to bright steel.

Believed to be a possible trials bayonet associated with the Canadian / British / Australian X8 FAL trials (circa 1954).

A very interesting and scarce early FN FAL bayonet, suitable for an advanced collection.
