Blades Bayonets

Up for sale is a highly collectible, original WWI-era Swiss Model 1914 Pioneer/Engineer Sawback Bayonet, complete with its steel scabbard.

This is a massive, incredibly well-engineered blade featuring the iconic dual-tooth sawback spine, a full muzzle ring, and original wood grip scales.

Manufacturer: Waffenfabrik Neuhausen (Crisp maker stamp on the ricasso, dating the blade's production to the WWI era).

Serial Number: 13636 (Stamped on the crossguard). In the Swiss system, armorers stamped the bayonet to match the soldier's issued firearm. This specific low 5-digit serial maps perfectly to a 1908 Swiss Model 1889/1900 Short Rifle, which was explicitly issued to specialized Pioneer and Engineer troops right before WWI.

Blade Condition: Exceptional shape. The original factory profile is sharp, the deep fuller looks great, and the aggressive sawback teeth remain incredibly sharp and clean. No heavy pitting, rust, or backyard grind marks.

Grips & Hardware: Original wood grips are solid, tight, and secure with great historical color. The push-button locking mechanism functions perfectly.

Scabbard Condition: Original black leather construction with steel throat and tip fittings. Please note: There is a noticeable, historical crease/bend in the leather body of the scabbard from actual field wear over the past century (clearly highlighted in the photos). The leather remains stable, and the blade still draws and sheathes smoothly without binding or catching.

A fantastic piece of Swiss military history with verified provenance to complete your premium military surplus display or rifle setup.

Price: $400 cash.

Location/Pickup: Local pickup only in Square One Area, Mississauga. Will ship across Canada on the buyer's dime if EMT is cleared first.
