1888 LEE ENFIELD/METFORD BAYONET Mk-1 TYPE 2 (09/97)

Sanderson bayonet for the Lee Metford or Long Lee Enfield dated 09.97.  This is the  Mk I Second type with cleanout hole in handle.

Blade has not been sharpened but has pitting and staining.  The blade is a spear pointed blade, with wooden handles and brass screws.

Comes with early tear drop pommel bayonet scabbard.
