19th Century Antique USN Rope Knife

An original United States Navy rope knife. This style of rope knife was used from the American Civil War through to the 1890s. Made by the Challenger Knife Company in Sheffield, this example likely dates from the 1870s. This is a scarce knife to find in very good condition.
