19th Century French Naval Officer’s Sword with scabbard - name engraved

19th century French naval officers sword. 30.25 inch 3 sided blade. Blade does show signs of corrosion and discoloration. I cleaned it up the best I could. Brass seems to be in good condition. Engraved with the name Charles Bernard Phillipe Jeantelot. I am mainly a Gun Guy, not an expert on edged weapons. Feel free to ask questions or for specific pictures.
