Browning Auto-5 (maybe, see description) Forend

Hand guard / forend for a browning auto-5, or one of the many clones. This forend is a bit of a mystery. I bought it new from Western gun Parts, but it won't fit my auto-5 magnum even if I tried filing it. Local gunsmith theorized it may be for a Franchi Auto-5 clone.
