PMA Gen II Barrel Vise

The PMA Gen II Barrel Vise is based on the fantastic original Viper barrel vise, with a few added features. The metal finishing on the aluminum is designed to maximize grip and minimize marks left on the barrel, especially using drywall tape, toilet paper cardboard or leather straps. It has the ability to handle barrels from .750" to 1.500" without the need for different bushings by using different contours throughout the machining. Vise is shipped in position to handle barrels 1" - 1.500"+. To use the vise for barrels under 1" remove the top and rotate it 90 degrees. Springs hold vise open to easily insert and remove barrel when loosened without having to hold it open manually to avoid scratching. Vise can be bench mounted (or to comething like a trailer hitch), or clamped in a standard workbench vise for temporary use. PMA Recommends applying grease to the stud threads prior to use and torquing barrel vise nuts to 40 ft-lbs.
