ANTIQUE (no PAL) Excellent 7.5mm Nagant Brevet Model 1893 Revolver - Shoots .32 S&W, 1897, Original Initialled Holster Included

Selling my mechanically excellent Norwegian "BREVET NAGANT" Model 1893 revolver, serial dated to 1897 - pre-1898 antique, no PAL, no registration, 18+. Chambered in the original 7.5mm Nagant, the cylinder also happens to chamber and fire .32 S&W Short with no issues, a coincidence of case dimension rather than a factory offering. .32 S&W Short is widely available through rustywood.ca as cowboy-action loads, making this a genuinely shootable antique. Comes with the original leather clamshell service holster and ammo pouch at the asking price, well-preserved and carrying the initials "T H" from a past owner, a small link back to whoever carried this piece over a century ago.

Mechanically excellent. Approx 5 5/8" barrel, rifling strong and shiny bright with crisp-edged lands and only isolated, scattered patches of inactive oxidation. Both single and double action are very strong with tight lockup and no play. Ejector, action, and cylinder all function exactly as intended, with strong knurling remaining on the ejector rod and hammer.

Condition is Excellent. Original blueing sits above 90% on the frame, with dusky dark surfaces and a bright electric-blue finish preserved on the loading gate, hammer, and loading gate spring. Three-piece original wood grips are solid and strong with good, crisp checkering and only minor dings. "BREVET NAGANT" is stamped on the left side of the frame, serial 31XX.

The Model 1893 was built under Nagant's patent by independent Belgian makers, part of the wave of Nagant-pattern revolvers that armed police and military forces across Europe in the late 19th century. This example's included holster and ammo pouch, carried by an owner identified only by initials, offer a quiet connection to that era.
