M1877 Colt “Thunderer” .41 Long Colt ANTIQUE

The title says it all- 

This is by far one of the most desirable colt models used by Lawmen and Outlaws alike. I’m sure you’ve heard many stories of it being favored by outlaws such as “Billy the Kid”, “John Wesley Hardin”, and of course “Doc Holiday” was rumoured to use the thunderer and lighting. 

This specific model has a 4 1/2 inch barrel with the shell ejector, all numbers matching. all the springs are still intact and tight, screw heads are also in pretty good condition as well. on the backside of the birds head grip there’s a light layer of rust that started showing but kept my eye on it. there’s some minor pitting on the outside of the cylinder (as pictured) and very light pitting on the interior of the barrel but that’s to be expected coming from a Handgun that was used almost 200 years ago. the checkered grips still hold its colour, shape, and still has immaculate detail on the colt insignia. 

This is Classified as an Antique and does not require any kind of license or registration to own. will include RCMP FRT Report

It is in time lockup tight, all clicks are present and shoots quite nicely. I use 20 grns FFFg Blackpowder. it’s cleaned, oiled and taken care of meticulously.
