I am offering a very rare Galand self-extracting revolver chambered in 11mm, with .44 Russian fitting the chamber very well. Designed by Charles-François Galand, the Galand was one of the most innovative revolvers of the late 1800s, featuring a unique self-extracting system that was well ahead of its time.

Condition & Mechanics: This revolver is being sold as a project gun, but it is still functional. The timing is good, and when the revolver locks up, it does so well. The self-extracting mechanism works properly, and the bore has strong, well-defined rifling. Ask questions and pictures before purchasing if any clarification is needed.

Known Issues:

• Double action functions, but occasionally binds and would benefit from tuning (approximately 7/10 operation)
• Single action is currently not functioning; the sear may be worn
• Trigger return spring may be weak
• Some screws are loose and should be tightened
• Minor play typical of a project revolver

Despite these issues, the revolver can still be fired, although it would benefit from mechanical attention to reach its full potential.
