Italian 10.4 mm caliber. Double action and single action work well, lock up is tight. This model was manufactured until 1889. Barrel appears to have been shortened and the sight peened into place afterwards. This has left a small lump inside the bore at the muzzle which may effect accuracy. The hammer spur was broken and welded back on.
Shows signs of age and use. Still a handsome piece, with floral engraving and a nice comfortable heft.
