Antique status, No PAL is required for ownership, Good condition for its age.
Need to thin my collections for funding another project.
Chambered in 8mm French Ordnance, manufactured by Manufacture d'armes de Saint-Étienne in 1893.
The original Leather Hostler gets its owner name on it and stamps from factory/military.
Cosmetically and mechanically, this revolver is in good shape for its age. The original finish is much preserved, featuring a deep blue on most surfaces. The cylinder is clean, and the rifling remains fairly sharp.
Comes with some reloading stuff, but Fiocchi 8mm French Ordnance ammunition is readily available from various online retailers and local gun stores.
As an antique-status firearm, this item does not require a PAL for ownership. The package includes RCMP documentation confirming its antique classification. (Note: While the printed report has expired, the firearm’s antique status remains unchanged.)
