I have for sale a piece of history. It is an "Irish traveling pistol of musket bore" made by Nicholas Clarke between 1787 and 1811. It's marked Clarke (Dublin) on the top of the 4 1/2 inch octagonal barrel. Somewhere in it's history it was converted from flintlock to cap and ball. The bore is listed at 75 caliber. I would consider the condition good for It's age. (Minimum 220 years) There's lots of honest wear. This pistol is considered to be an antique. No PAL required. I have the letter from the Canadian Firearms Registry as proof. It will be included with the sale. Also, a custom case (as shown) will be included.
I'm asking $1075 and I am open to offers. I am willing to ship at cost to the buyer. As always, I welcome a face to face transaction in and around Orono Ontario.
